Park ‘N Play was founded in Ramsey in 1994 by Beth Hasbrouck. The play center was modeled on a similar facility in Pittsburgh, PA. In 1998, Ms. Hasbrouck was set to close the Park ‘N Play when a group of member mothers volunteered to take over the play center. This governing board, along with other member volunteers, has been running The New Park ‘N Play as a non-profit, non-sectarian organization since 1998.
The New Park ‘N Play is located downstairs in the First Presbyterian Church on the corner of North Central and Darlington Avenues in Ramsey, New Jersey.
